Sagewind Development Identifies Second Southeastern Wisconsin Location of fireside MARKET
Sagewind Development, a subsidiary of Potawatomi Ventures, announced the development of a new fireside MARKET in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. The project will be located at 4750 W. Brown Deer Road on the former Rite-Hite Holding Corporation site. With the 2-acre site, Sagewind plans to develop a 10,000-square-foot convenience store and gas station that offers a quick-service restaurant, drive-thru, electric vehicle charging stations, and an indoor-outdoor fireplace. The new store will provide a modern, tech-forward experience for the community.
This location marks an important expansion for fireside MARKET, which is currently building a site in Slinger, Wisconsin with plans to open this summer of 2025. The project will bring full and part-time job opportunities to the area. The Village of Brown Deer has strongly supported the development, with approvals for the site plan and architecture already in place.
“We're thankful for working with a great team at the Village of Brown Deer and obtained approval of the building design, which is almost identical to the prototype [currently under construction and] opening this summer in Slinger, WI. Sagewind continues to work with Brown Deer on making this fireside Market a Brown Deer site specific design, further enhancing the significant improvements of recent years and ongoing at the heart of the Village. Additionally, a traffic signal is being coordinated with Wisconsin Department of Transportation at the intersection to improve access and safety. We anticipate closing on the land in early 2025 and are working with fireside MARKET to determine the optimal opening timeline in Brown Deer before finalizing the construction timeline," said Rob Gamperl, VP of Sagewind.
