KIP RITCHIE

Chief Executive Officer

KIP RITCHIE is an enrolled FCP tribal member and serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Potawatomi Ventures. Prior to being promoted to CEO, Kip served as both the COO of Potawatomi Ventures and the President of Greenfire. He joined Potawatomi Ventures full-time in 2006 as Senior VP and served on its founding Board of Directors from 2002-2007. Kip’s career in Indian Country began in 1997 when he joined Potawatomi Hotel & Casino as Director of Marketing. He was promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2002.

Kip serves on the following Boards; National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, Froedtert Hospital & Medical College Foundation, Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation, Gun Lake Investments—the economic development arm of the Gun Lake Potawatomi Tribe, and is a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Enterprise Advisory Council . Since 1999, he has served as the Chairman of the FCP Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Kip is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
